Wire & BEING, working on their sixth project together, have just won the British Council’s Tech4Culture contract. This exciting project will see them consulting with the Burdur Governorship in Turkey, helping put this fascinating region well and truly on the international tourist map by creating the country’s first digital arts festival.

“Like most people, I wasn’t that familiar with the Burdur region of Turkey before this brief, but after spending a week there I can honestly say it is one of the most beautiful and culture packed places I’ve visited, and surprisingly it has not lost that most important of qualities, genuine charm. We’re delighted to be helping them promote themselves through the British Council’s Tech4Culture programme.”
Colum Lowe – Founder, BEING

“This is a great opportunity to do something very different, to rethink what culture and art mean for this region and its visitors, we have been very surprised at how open and progressive the Burdur Governorship has been with some of our more challenging ideas.”
Peter Higgins – Founder, Wire
